Wisconsin CCW class is designed to meet the requirements to obtain the Wisconsin Resident CCW permit.

Full Description:  This class will focus on firearm safety, ammunition, cleaning,  and reciprocity/recognition. Firing of a firearm is not required to obtain the resident Concealed Firearm Permit. Does the Wisconsin class give me concealed carry privileges in Illinois?

No, but it is accepted in 29 other states.

Does the Wisconsin class have range time?

Shooting is NOT required in this class.

Do I need a F.O.I.D Card?

No,  Only Wisconsin residents can apply for a Wisconsin Permit.  Only Illinois residents can get an F.O.I.D. card.

Do I need to bring a firearm to class?

No, you will not need to bring a  firearm to attend.

FOID Statement: Illinois residents that will be TRANSPORTING their own firearm to and from the class/range must be in possession of a valid FOID/CCL card, and be of legal age, 21 for handguns, and 18 for long guns.  A FOID card is not required to participate in the class. Out of state residents need to follow the age requirements and have a valid ID.
