Skills and Drills-Reloads and Malfunctions is for those who have their CCL or have taken the NRA Defensive Pistol.
Full Description: Red Dot Arms Training Academy’s Skills and Drills-Reloads and Malfunctions Class is open to anyone that currently holds a Concealed Carry License from their home state or has a certificate that demonstrates that they have prior training including use of a holster. Prior instruction in the use of a holster is required to attend this class. The main focus of this Skills and Drills is magazine changes and malfunctions! This skill must be practiced in order to increase your shooting abilities a well as how to stay safe on the range when you have a malfunction. These skills needs to become automatic and this will only happen if you practice them. The following are some of the drills you will be completing in this class: Drawing from the holster Transition to support hand One-handed shooting Speed-tactical reloads Shooting from the hip Malfunctions Verbal Commands Our pistol instructors and range safety officers will be in attendance to help you along the way. This is a great way for you to continue practicing and building your shooting fundamentals in a safe and fun environment. Please join us as often as you like.

Can I take this class if I have never worked with a holster?
No, you need to have experience with using a holster before you take this class. We do have a Skills and Drills: Drawing from the Holster class.
Why do I need a glove
We will clear stove pipes with our support hand. Repeatedly doing without a glove can hurt your hand overtime.
Is this class recommended for new shooters?
No, this is an advanced class.
Are rentals available for this class?
No. In order to attend this class, you need to use your own firearm and holster.
